We are your primary deterrent for theft & vandalism on your construction site. Our clients range from large, multi-million dollar commercial general contractors, to municipalities and homebuilders who have looked to us since 1996 for effective jobsite theft prevention strategies.

SiteWatch is made up of a vast network of law enforcement agencies, building trade associations, criminal justice partners, local and state civic leaders, general & trade contractors, metal recyclers, municipalities, and community members. We work together to prevent crime from happening and help with swift recoveries when there is a loss. We are a 501(c)6 not-for-profit governed by a Board of Directors, and our mission is to prevent crime and costly incidents in the construction industry by providing construction site security tools.

The SiteWatch notification system delivers immediate alerts to your designated responsible onsite team. This gives you the ultimate speed and control over how you respond.

How it works - Step 1. Site-specific signage

Select your project size and signage, and SiteWatch will print and ship custom signs to your site, containing a text code unique to your project and location.

Step 2. Post signage on your job site perimeter

Our signage is your best deterrent against theft, trespassing, and vandalism. SiteWatch is alerted immediately to any onsite issues by passersby, local community and neighborhood members, and other contractors.

This may include:

▪ Downed fencing or broken water lines

▪ Trespassing, vandalism, or many other notifications

Step 3. Take action with real-time notifications

Once SiteWatch receives an alert, we immediately pass this

information on to your site contact. No spam or irrelevant messages. In the

event of a crime being committed, we often receive photographs and/or

videos, and encourage the notifying party to file a police report to support

prosecution and recovery efforts, and be eligible to receive a cash reward.

What is the mission of SiteWatch?

SiteWatch is a 501(c)6 designated not-for-profit organization. Our mission is to help contractors and owners reduce crime and losses on their job sites through training, support, and mitigating services proven to be effective. We believe Crime Prevention is Profit Protection. We have an extensive network of contractors, law enforcement, recyclers, and more in place to support our members with issues they experience related to crime and other site issues.

How long has SiteWatch been in business?

Formerly the Construction Industry Crime Prevention Program (CICPP), we have been helping contractors mitigate theft, vandalism, and trespassing since 1996. During that time, more than $16,000,000 in losses have been reported with over $5,500,000 recovered.

Can SiteWatch Site Kits and signage be job costed?

Absolutely. Subject to owner approval, our signage can job costed and promoted as an added benefit to project owners as a way to reduce theft, vandalism, damage, and lost time on projects.

What else does SiteWatch do?

We provide trainings, toolbox talks, and support in safeguarding your site against thefts - large and small. From site security walkthroughs to facilitating support and relationships with local law enforcement, we provide holistic solutions to many costly and time-sensitive problems contractors face.

Just as the construction environment has changed and evolved over the past 30 years, so has our organization.
